Quick heater hose location question

Default Quick heater hose location question

Hello everyone,

I have a 2000 and I just replaced the heater core. I only did the 2nd part so I do not know how the hoses were removed. I would like to know if anyone can point me in the right direction of where the hoses go from the heater core. I think one goes to the water pump but I am very ignorant in these things. Also, which one, top or bottom, goes where? Thank you all.

Default Heater core hoses

The inboard core fitting connects to the water pump. The outboard fitting (toward the passenger side) connects to a fitting in the passenger side of the intake manifold about 1/4 the way back from the front. The manifold fitting is just behind and to the left of the radiator hose fitting and is nearly horizontal.
