Rear / Front Diff and transfer case service intervals
First time to the site - recently purchased a 97 Old Bravada and found Blazerforum.com - done a few searches already and let me say this is a great informational site!
My owners manual for my 97 Olds Bravada AWD does not give a service interval for the fluids in the front/rear diff or the transfer case. Do these not need to be changed or should these be done every 100,000 miles? I have 110,000 miles on now and don't believe any of this has been done before. Just want to try and swap out all necessary fluids before winter is here. Also does anyone know what the capacity for the transfer case is - how much dexron III? My owners manual is also missing this info.
Thanks!
Aaron

The best I can find says to 'service and inspect' every 7,500 miles. I would change the transfer case and transmission fluids ~30,000 miles.

Just my rule of thumb is to change the Axle fluids every 100,00 as you mentioned. On the old style axle bearings, I repack them at 100,000 miles also.
Not sure of the capacities. I whole heartedly recommend one of these for Axle , trani and Transfercase fluid changes. get them at any Autoparts store. http://www.jcwhitney.com/OIL-SUCTION...9064_10109.jcw
