Default rear hatch would not open

just thought i would mention that if any of you blazer owners have a problem wit hthe rear hatch button not opening the hatch...we found that there is a fuse in the main box under hood ....it is a number 3 fuse...we took the tailgate apart thinking it might be a broken actuator, only to find out it was a fuse....check there first.....

*Moving to 2nd Gen Tech*

And I do believe that is one of the first things mentioned in atleast one of the rear hatch discussions we have laying around here. Fuses should always be the first thing to check.

mine doesn't open with the button, but it's not a fuse. if someone is there to pull it, it opens. just doesn't release like it should. I'm just too lazy to go back and pull panels to adjust the actuater. i don't mind using the key to open it.
