Default Rear window washer fluid does not work

I have a 2003 Chevy Blazer. On the back window there appears a hose running along side the wiper arm. I have a button on the cab it seems to show to squirt windshield wiper on back window, but does not work. It never have worked for me. Does anybody know the system and the potential problem.

open your tailgate and then hit the washer button. Good chance that the connector for the tube came off. If this is your problem you will have fluid leaking from the tailgate. You can take the interior panel off there is a screw holding the strap and the rest you just pull up gently at the sides of the panel and it will come off. I glued my tube back in because it was a very loose fit. Hope this helps

Grab a friend and have them push the button to spray and see if you hear the pump run on the washer tank. If you hear nothing take out the connector for the rear pump and test to see if its getting power when the button is pushed. If the connector is getting power and the pump isnt making noise time for a new one I dont think they are wicked expensive.

Default Rear wiper no fluid

On my 97 I had no fluid to the rear wiper and could not notice it leaking out anywhere. It turned out to be leaking from a fitting located under the bottom trim at the back of the rear compartment and not in the tailgate itself. I just gently lifted the trim up - I don't think there were any screws. There is a small 90 degree fitting where the two hoses connect to - one from the wiper resevoir the other going into the tailgate. It seemed like one of the hoses had shrunk in length as I couldn't get them to reach well enough to reconnect. I got a small length of rubber tubing and added just enough to give enough slack to make a good connection. The tubing should be a good tight fit. I can't remember if I added tie wraps at each end for insurance against the tubing slipping off. If your problem is similiar you can judge for yourself with regards to the tie wraps. Hope you figure it out.
