Key will not turn to off position

Default Key will not turn to off position
2004 xtreme Blazer- Key would not turn to off position-Had this problem for months- It turned out, it was a broken wire at shifter plug. fixed ourselves...cost nothing

Yup, they don't turn off even in neutral unless it's in park so that's the right direction to look. That or the mechanics of the switch, but thats not as likely. WTG
