4wd hi/lo work fine no 2wd

Default 4wd hi/lo work fine no 2wd

Hey guys found out this morning my blazer is stuck in 4wd. Well last night I was using 4wd hi and forgot to put it back into 2hi before bed. Well this morning I left for work it was in 4wd hi and I tried to change it to 2wd and it didn't do anything and still wont do anything im lost. it is a 3 button switch and it will go into 4wd lo and back to 4wd hi just fine but no go on the 2wd. Someone please help. Thanks Ryan

no one on here can help I see that other people have had this issue but no one updates to say how they fixed it

Mine did the same thing. I took the switch apart and cleaned the contacts. There is a thin metal strip that goes over a middle contact. when you press the button it closes the connection momentarily. I de-soldered mine but could have probably been done with 1000 grit sand paper. Of course the switch is only $30 or so but I like seeing how things work! Good luck.
