Default Tranny fluid leak after Transfer case replacement

Well ever since I had my transfer case replaced in my 97 2-dr 4x4 Blazer I have had a slow tranny fluid leak from between the t-case and transmission. Now if the input seal the the t-case is bad would it always leak fluid into the t-case or just sometimes? And if it isnt that seal it would have to be the tranny tailshaft/output seal? I am going to check to see if the t-case is overfilled I havn't done so yet because my tranny fluid has been low when I checked it first and I have had to add maybe a 1/4-1/2 qt a week. So I just assumed the t-case was good and not leaking but looking into some actuator/4x4 failures I read that if the t-case input seal is bad you can have major problems with the hvac system, so just trying to figure out the problem before I pull the t-case. Thanks.

If its leaking into the transfercase then the input seal on transfercase is bad. If its leaking onto the ground then the gasket between the two is bad. Wouldn't hurt to check and make sure the bolts are tight. Also check the front output seal on the transfercase

its not the front output seal that would be visible, but I tried to take the plug off today and it was on pretty good and looked like it was kind of rounded out so I am going to get a new one before I try and take it off cause Im worried Ill ruin it trying to take it off... Ill update once I check fluid level, I was able to check the 3 vac hoses on the switch and there was no oil on them...
