I am thinking of designing a vinyl overlay for the grille bowtie that can be cut out at a professional graphic shop.
Here is the rough design: http://i159.photobucket.com/albums/t147/Eurogoldls/BlazerdecalIdea.jpg
Theyellow lettering will represent the gold of the existing bowtie when you put it on

Search that up on eBay, there are several people who already make those, and the one davtak has for his third brake light. They also make vinyls to cover parts of your headlights, tails, and turn signals.

I have the same brake light overlay that Dav has. Looked it up on ebay, no one makes that particular design, but it doesn't matter now... heh, I painted the bowtie.
Looks good too... perfectly smooth and shiny. sand, coat with primer, wet sand, coat with black enamel, wet sand, coat again, wet sand, coat with clear enamel. perfect job.

Seems like a lot of work for that....
The "Blazer" lettering is going to be pretty small. Also, it would be interesting to put the lettering on the bowtie backwards, so when someone in front of you looks in their rearview mirror, they would be able to read what it says.....It was also confuse people when they look at it straight on wondering "why the hell did he put the letters on backwards?" lol

HMMmm reversed, interestin idea. I saw a similar thing. There isJeep in Smithfield NC that has a 12 inch lift and on the liscense plate, upside down, it says 'If you can read this, flip me over'.
Wasn't a lot of work when you are usingfast drying primer. Took me about 30 minutes total, butI let it set out in the sun for a day before adding the clear enamel and that night after. Put it back on the next day. Had the front taken apart alredy anyway to rewire my LEDs onto a protected circut.
