jk, i really dont care if i win. i havent done anything to the outside of it except the texas sticker on the front bowtie and the exhaust looks waayyy cooler than stock. oh and i took the CHEVROLET off of the back but the fading around it was pretty bad so im probably gonna put it back on

Thanks for the complements on the new tires and rims, I appreciate that......so i supposethe cat is out of the bag then, i got 33x12.5r15 Goodyear MTR's on Moab Rock Crawler 15x8's with 3.75" back spacing. I loves em, even if they do rub when making sharp turns.

Funny you should mention that, i almost bought a black blazer, LOL. Got forced into a red one by the dealer. Nearly the exact same options but this one was $4000 cheaper. Didnt under stand why until i did a carfax report last year and found out Dale was originally a corporate chaufer vehicle and thus they figured it must have been abused. I figure eh, so be it. Plus in the Arizona heat black is not a fun color to have (my 94 grand prix was evidence to that).
At any rate i still think your blazer looks sharp man. Its cleanand has nice suttle touches to it that make it look nice IMHO.

After having two black vehicles, I must say that I really like the looks of my green Rainier! Black looks amazing when all cleaned up, but man does it show EVERY imperfection. The metallic green on my Rainier is much more forgiving and the metallic paint is more eye catching in my opinion.

I agree with Kyle, I owned 2 black vehicles and had the same problem. I love my color on my truck. It hides dirt very well, looks amazing when clean and you can't notice any swirl marks. Can't wait to clay bar and wax soon tho.

I have had a red metallic car which was okay, I really liked the metallic blue I had on my Taurus SHO, now I like my red blazer with the silver metallic trim. My dad has a metallic green similar to swartlkk's ranier and I like that a lot. I don't know as long as its not white or some hideous shade of a color i think it would be liveable with.

Yeah, I love my red truck too. It looked plain before, but when I replaced all the chrome accents with black, it made the red color stand out more. It also stays shiny and clean a long time.

my blue shows pollen really bad, black is worse than mine though, my red s-10 wasn't too hard to keep clean. it would just lose its shine but didnt always look dirty

I took my blazer through the car wash wednesday afternoon for thursdays drive. An hour and a half drive either way to a Big and Rich concert at Mohegan Sun, my blazer was covered in squished bugs. Ewwwwww!

I've owned about every color of vehicle I can think of,and from a maintenance standpoint white is the best and black is the worst, but the payoffcomesafter you spend a couple hours cleaning it, (which we are all gonna do no matter what color it is) and NOTHING has that deep shine that black does!

I honestly am blown away.....i really dont know what to say other than thanks to everyone thats voted for me so far. I really didnt think little old Dale would pull this kind of response.
However thats not to say that someone couldnt bring on an upset. We have thousands of members (not all of em are regulars but hey they exist) so its possible someone else could take this thing in the next 2 days. Thank you everyone for voting. I still cant believe i pulled it out but hey sometimes miracles do happen, LOL.
Tripleblack: You have NO IDEA how hard it was to keep those tires a secret. I was itchin to share em with everybody and all but i wanted to keep it a big suprise......admittedly lenny sweated it out of me...yeah, im weak, LOL.
Lenny: For the most part dale is holding up and running well. Only thing thats going to pot thast buggin the crap out of me is just the front a-arm bushings, they are all but gone right now so my front end "moves" around a bit. Messes with the camber when hes parked but once he gets moving it straightens out. Other thing it does is when off roading it will let the tires hit the firewall if turning. Irrates the crap ouf of me but eh, it will get fixed.
gr81: Help me put in those new bushings sometime and I'll take ya out wheelin, LOL.
THANKS AGAIN EVERYONE!!! It was one heck of a ROTM and I'm glad i was a part of it.
