New to the board from Gulfport, MS but currently serving in Iraq. I've owned my 2000 black ZR2 since I bought it new in Oct 00. Member of a ZR2 board but figured the more knowledge I can gain would be better and might even be able to help some folks out, too. Not the greatest pics but here it is. I've got a few mods to add on when I get back. Been spending just a little bit of cash since I've been over here and the garage is filling up with goodies.

First off, thank you for your service. Hats off and much respect to you.
Secondly, WELCOME to the forum!
Thirdly, your truck looks MEAN! I like the wheel/tire combo with the aggressive tread.

What kind of goodies did you pile up?

Thanks all for the welcome. Been a little hard to get online lately.

TBB, the stuff I've purchased is mostly to help with offroad and a few fix-it items. Trans4mer, winch, rear diff guard, offroad lights, new oil lines, front end parts, B&M shift kit and I know a few things I'm forgetting. My wife has been piling the stuff in the garage and is getting a little mad.

I'm in the Navy, serving in Baghdad. Yes, there really are Sailors out here in the desert. Been here since June and will be home in Jan.

Paddle_gurl, that is actually a "clean" picture. It was covered in mud a week later after hunting.

The wheels are US Wheels, 15X7 with 31X10.50 Cooper SST's. Those are for the offroading, normally I have the stock rims with Goodyear A/T's on it. I lose about 2-3 mpg running the mudders on the road.

I was in the navy as well, and I know about us being in the dirt. I was a boatswains mate 2nd class when i was in. What is your rank/rate?

I used to be a boiler tech, made Chief, then LDO. I'm now a LT in the security field, hence my being over here. Big demand for us security types.
