View Full Version : if i have a 4" lift could i fit 15x10 yamahakid 10-28-2007, 08:00 PM if i have a 4" lift could i fit 15x10 or would it work if i was 6" in the air ona suspension lift mdehoogh 10-28-2007, 10:36 PM what year is your truck and what size tires would you be running cyukio recently made a similar thread (http://www.blazerforum.com/m_102309/mpage_1/key_/tm.htm#102778). hes got a 2wd with a 2" body lift, 3.5" lift spindles and add-a-leaf so hes at about 5.5" he had problems with a 30x11.5" tire on 15x10" wheels and said hes going to try 29" tires. however 29" tires pretty much the same height as stock yamahakid 10-29-2007, 08:33 PM its a 95 atleast 30 Jigg 10-29-2007, 10:39 PM 15x10's aren't really a good idea on these trucks. They're entirely too wide, and don't come with nearly enough backspacing. You won't be able to fit any large tires, and you'll chew through your front end like nobody's business. I'd stick with a 15x7 with 4"+ of backspacing or a 15x8 with 5"+ of backspacing. Johnkoch 11-02-2007, 10:45 PM I would go with a rim that was not as wide as that not over 8 i think,with the 10 it will rub the sway bar/frame. cyukio 11-03-2007, 12:17 PM yup i totally agree with what everybody in this post said. 15x8 is the way to go my 15x10s is just not giving me the results that i wanted. here i am waiting for the 29s to come in and i dont really think theyre gonna fit without trimming or rubbing either. my advice go with whats recommended or if you got the money "STRAIGHT FRONT"!!!!! |
