I finally found out this weekend how to get love bugs off of my truck and that is to wet a drier sheet and just rub it where they are and they come right off.A guy that details cars told me this and i tried it and it works good, just thought i would tell yall this.....

That is definitely a good thing to know. Especially since I do alot of nightdriving.
I just hate using those sprays that are 'supposed' to help get bugs off.

They shouldn't be, they are just fine synthetic fibers coated with smellgood and softener on them.
It make sense as they are to help break down the residual soap and water deposits that cause sheets to be stiff. I suppose they do the same with the bugs. I would be afraid that it may also break down the wax...

Well i do it all the time and dont seem to have a problem and like i said a person that details cars for small dealerships is the one that told me and i dont think he would be doing it if it was bad for the paint or anything.

I'll have to try it next time I wash the Envoy. I never really do any night driving... Mom does though. She gets all the bugs! LOL
