Myself and some other people on here are thingking of getting a meet&greet together and go to six flags new england. The date would be April 19th which is a saturday. They open at 10am. We will meet at the McDonald's in Enfield CT exit 48 off of I-91. It's about 10 minutes from six flags.

The McDonalds is literaly right off the exit. You can see it from the highway, that's how close it is. Just look for the big yellow arches hahaha.

I haven't heard anything yet. I pm'd Jigg as I believe he is from around that area. He might know of somewhere. I am also looking forward to seeing everyone's blazers.I was thinking of maybe a 9 or 9:30 meeting time at the McDonalds as to give some people traveling time. The park doesn't open till 10 anyway.

Lets try to get some more northeast people to this and make it a big bang. 10 isn't bad, but we need more!!! I am even on the lookout in my area if I see a blazer, I look to see who is driving it and perhaps introduce myself and tell tehm about this site and the meet&greet and see if they are interested. I have a few I see once in a while. A lifted in bristol with lights galore, a yellow Xtreme with HID's, and an older lifted Blazer.

Do we want to keep this an only chevy event, or should we open arms to other groups. I have a guy from s10forum that has a lowered Ford Ranger that said he would come, but since I said only chevy, he was out. What does everyone think about this.

I'm being ridiculed on s10forum and northeastsyndicate because it is not all trucks welcome. There are a few guys on northeastsyndicate that have groups that would go, but they do not drive chevys. And also I was told that not all people and thier mammas drive chevys, so unless I welcome all people, then they are out. IDK how many people we are talking about here, but they are all pretty much minitruckers. What do you think, should I stick to my guns and just stay chevy, or shoud we reach out. This would make it a larger group too welcoming all trucks. I kinda want to just have blazers and s10's, but I don't know what to do. The Big-E is in Agawam at the Eastern States Exposition. Last year was my first year going to the Big-e. It was a blast.

I got the word that I have the day off, so I am good to go. On my day off on tuesday, I am going to see if I can get a t-shirt made and how much. Also, I am going to work on that card that I was talking about in chat.

Are you goint to Frank Marata this year? Me and Dave are going, if you'd like, just drive the 35 minutes to hartford, and we'lll meet up with you.

The show is still up in the air. I might (hopefully not) have to work. I don't think I will, but I won't know until I see the finalized schedule. I am also going to Monster Jam sat night with some friends of mine from work. I would be able to go to the car show prolly until like 3 or so to give me some time to get home and get ready to go. I was considering skipping it, but I really would like to go. I'll keep you posted Steve if I have to work or not. It's not that far and the website says it's an awesome show. Muscle cars, trucks, street rods, import cars, and they even have vendors. You could meet us at the McDonalds on Jennings Road right off the exit off of I-91.

Really!!?? That would be sweet!!! I saw on the website too that you can actually have a rate for groups with your own private picnic area and everything is catered by six flags.

that would probubly be an obnoxious expense, i say we just cook our own lunch in the parking lot, i think you can come back into the park after leaving if you get a wrist band or stamp or something

I wish. Stews doesn't give us any employee discounts. We got a free turkey at thanksgiving, and if our boss thinks we did a good job, we get a "moo note" (cause Stews is all about cows and farms) explaingin what a great job we did and it comes with a $4.50 lunch coupon.

On the cheese rolls, I haven't made any of those for a couple of months now. One of the upstairs head honchos decided that they weren't worth making. It was decided that the amount of time it took to make them, we weren't making enough money to compensate. They sold really good, and people are still asking for them. Hopefully when the warmer weather gets here, I will be able to do them again. My boss wants me to make them again, but the decision came from above him, so he can't say anything. The funny thing is that Stew came in one time and saw them and liked them. The CEO of the company came up to me and shook my hand to thank me for the creativity and he loved the idea. But there is this one person upstairs who is a real stickler for making money. I keep biting my lip every time the CEO or Stew comes in. They are looking for million dollar ideas and I guess that isn't one of them. They also did away with the marinated salads and the fresh mozzarella/tomato trays I did too. All that they want is just plain fresh mozzarella and it sucks. I am only working in there two days a week, sometimes one. My boss has me doing so much stuff.

That really sucks, sounds like the concentration camp that was Friendlys when i was workng there, i just applied to pralines on newbritain ave. i hope i get the job, i meean i do have experience in icecream.

BUMP!! I got an idea. I noticed that the Hartford Courant is adding a new section to the paper on wednesday March 19th. It is a section about car shows and meets and you can submit anything you want about car shows. What does everybody think about me posting it in the Hartford Courant to try and get alot of people. I'm joking with a couple of guys on nezr2 about leaving doughnuts and figure 8's int he McD's parking lot b4 we leave.

The hartford courant thing is free. I hope you can go. Do what I told my bud to do when we were younger, say to your parents "Don't take my car away from me, then you will have to drive me to and from work everyday and everywhere I need to go!" Hopefully they realize that they don't really want to drive you all over the place and do something else:D

I believe it was a 00-04 with a brush guard and some PIAA lights also a lift and a roof basket. It looked sweet. It looked as if he worked at CarQuest on RT6. No, I actually got called in on my day off cause two people called out sick, so woohoo overtime and hello HID's :D. The first thing is I gotta get an amp and some boxes for my mothers birthday present (yes I said right, my mom wants a system for her bday). Nothing huge, just two 250 watt subs and prolly a Kicker amp. Just enough for some good bass but nothing to set off car alarms :D

Well unfortunatly its a no-go on me driving up to sixflags, my mom is being stupid about the whole grades thing. I guess its my fault kind of but what ever. I can always bum a ride if you you guys really wanted me there.
