I was bored, looking at air intakes on ebay, and i stumbled upon some cheap ones. I am just wondering if it will be worth spending the 30 bucks on this one or if i should go and buy the k&n. Feedback would be appriciated

here is the one i found for my 2005 blazer 2dr.

If you're considering that thing, do yourself a favor and grab a silicone coupler, some hose clamps, a peice of muffler piping at the proper size and a K&N cone. The problem with that and what I have suggested is the intake of hot air from the engine bay. To that point, a k&n drop-in in the factory airbox will provide better performance. You can suck in all the air you want, but if its hot, it isn't doing as much good as a lower volume of cold air. The factory airbox draws air from in front of the radiator which is much cooler than the air in the engine bay.

Not to mention that the filter that is on that intake isn't worth jack.

I figured it would just be easier to pay the money and get the K&N, I just wanted to know if it was worth it or not. You answered my question perfectly thanks I appriciate it.

I went the k&n drop in option, and haven't regreted it. Instant throttle response improvement. I still drool everytime i see the cold air intake though.
