How inportant are the rear disk brake mud guards ,that thin metal that covers the disk brakes. cause mine aRE SO RUSTED they are about to fall off

mine are rusted too. as long as they don't affect your braking, then its nothing bad. But you might just want to take a close look at them to make sure its nothing bad
