View Full Version : Working on lowering ideas...
BlazerChops 05-12-2008, 02:42 PM I want to drop my Blazer a little, not a whole lot. I'm thinking 2-3". So last night before going to bed, I worked this pic up real quick in PS3. If I have the time, I'll do another one tonight after work for a 3" drop. I may even do a couple at different angles.

Roughly 2" drop:

davtak 05-12-2008, 04:22 PM Looks really good with the 2". I think a 3" would look even better. It's something about those rims that makes the drop look that much better than the LT rims like the ones I have.
Idriveachevy 05-12-2008, 04:28 PM I thought that those rims were the stockers for the two wheel drives. But it does look good.
jimmyboy 05-12-2008, 06:15 PM i was bored and played around with your pic (the original one) (sorry in advance for my bad photoshop skills)

WolfPack 05-12-2008, 06:22 PM Shaved the frame rails too;)
I like it that low, I'm just not a fan of white walls myself. I had 'em on my old pontiac..and that's enough for me :D. About how low of a drop do you think that is? 4/5?
jimmyboy 05-12-2008, 06:34 PM probably close to 3/4 or something like that

UUGGHH!!! And white-walls no less?!?! Heck no! Way too much [sm=bling.gif]for me!
BlazerChops 05-12-2008, 09:21 PM Here's a couple more. This time at 3.5" of drop all the way around. I think this is a winner. I could easily live with this amount of drop. BTW, the "BLAZER" on the doors, do they come off easilyand are there holes behind them or are they just stuck on? What about the LS badge by the windows?

two words "go lower"
I don't want to go any lower. I'm not looking to make it a low rider and/or have it slammed. Plus I want to keep it fully functional and maintain a nice ride.
butters 07-15-2008, 10:17 AM still... go lower, get a 4.5 or atleast 4. the blazer emblem and ls would be way better of sitting in your trash can haha
butters 07-15-2008, 10:41 PM i dont have photoshop, wish i did...

mdehoogh 07-16-2008, 01:33 PM butters, I edited your post so the pictures would show up. By defualt, photobucket has the forum code written as url because on many forums, capital image tags work. Next time you want to post a picture, just change the [IMG] to [img] or [IMG]
Theres a sticky (http://www.blazerforum.com/m_142926/tm.htm) at the top of this section with a link to some free or trial version photo editing software. paint.net and GIMP (GNU Image Manipulation Program) are both free alternatives to Adobe Photoshop. There are also trial versions available from Adobe in case you want to try them out.
96Blazer2WD 09-18-2008, 09:29 AM i was wondering if you could find a picture of a 96 chevy blazer 4dr 2wd WHITE and lower it roughly 4inches in the rear and 3 in the front... with these wheels http://superbuytires.com/Akuza/Creation/?v=80&year=1996&diameter=18&w=4662518&p=1&s=20&suggested=245/40x18&p1=&p2=&finish=
