Wow. Seafoam is seriously the coolest stuff I've ever used in my car.
Don't take that lightly coming from me either, because I test EVERYTHING.
These were some times taken earlier today:
18.22 @ 73.4 <--- my first run, before I did the seafoam, was always the worst by a lot...
17.41 @ 78.7
17.37 @ 78.2
17.17 @ 80.6
Avg with stdev: 17.54 sec +- 0.46
This is with redline shifting and 87 octane power tuning.
Now this is the same setup with the seafoam treatment done:
17.11 @ 80.2
17.11 @ 80.2 (I kid you not... Identical time and trap speed...)
17.25 @ 79.3
17.18 @ 80.1
17.29 @ 78.9
Avg with stdev: 17.19 sec +- 0.08
Now, granted the average for the seafoam times is definately lower than the average before, that is not even the exciting part. The exciting part was the consistency that I got between times, way better than any other time I've ever done it. This means that my quarter mile times will fall between 17.11 seconds and 17.27 seconds 60% of the time. That is pretty good I'd say (especially if I take it to the track, consistent numbers means I can correctly guess my time more often).
Very excited about this stuff...
