Here it is I have a 1998 s-10 blazer 4-door 2-wheel drive. I am running 22 inch wheels with 265 35 ZR22 on it with 1 inch wheel spacers. I really don't want to do drop spindles in the front because I might have to put my stock 15 inch wheels on it when times get tough. so I am going to do 3 inch dropsprings and the nitro street performer drop shocks on it. I was wondering what you guies would have to say about the 3 inch drop leafs for the rear, Because I have heard more bad then good about using them and I don't want to buy them and change my mind because I don't like the way they ride. Also my front end on the drivers side sits abot 1 inch lower then the right side. I know that there is a 1 inch coil spring spacer out there and I think that if I use it on the letf front , That it should level out pretty good with the 3 front 4 rear drop on the truck. So whatever input you have , I would appreciate it.

if you are worried about changing the way it rides in the rear just use a 3 inch block the suspension rides the same just changes where the axle is

Why do you think drop spindles would prevent you from running your stock 15's in tough times??

The reason why I ask that is that I work at a chevy dealer and I have messed with a couple of s-10's with drop spindles on them and the only way that they clear the wheels is if you mount the tierods on top of the spindle mounting location rather then on the bottom where they are meant to be,one had 20's and one had 17's on them and wouldn't clear the 2in drop springs. So I was wondering if the spindles would clear the stock 15 in wheels, with out fliping the tierods upside down?

okay first thats extremly dangerous to mount the tie rods that way they have a tapered fit to them and what you are doing is WRONG!! the problem is they are using wheels that are too wide most people run a 1/4 spacer to help clear wheels i did it on my old 92 blazer but i didnt need it on my 02

FIX THOSE TIE-RODS

Just so you know, I'm not the on mounting them that way, it is customers coming through the shop like that, that I have seen

and you let them leave like that? thats a safety issue and you should have held the truck or fixed it and not let them drive it. its a danger to everyone else on the road

I bought a really decent drop kit on Ebay for like $150. Came with 3" drop springs in the front, and 4" blocks and U bolts for the rear. Worked perfectly fine and been going strong for 2 years now no problem. Makes driving a little rough but the 265-35-20s dont help either. Only problem I have is that I dont have a full turn radius right now because my wheels have such a deep offset. Im about to put 1/2 - 1" spacers though so I can get that all back, haha.

I am considering putting drop spindles on my 98 chevy blazer. I would like it to sit a little lower for a more attractive look. Plus it would give me a chance to update most of the worn front end components.

My question is, am i going to regret the lowering by way of performance. I do not as of now have anything more than the stock 15 inch rims i would most likely keep it that way until i could afford something bigger, but i am not really looking for anything larger than 18" rims. I really could use some advice.

how much lower do you want the front to sit? are you doing anything to the rear? if your looking to drop between 1-3" i would go with drop springs instead of the spindles.
