Hey, i'm thinkin about custom building a brush guard/light bar for my '94 4 door s10, any suggestions, pics, or plans any one has would be great, btw, anyone know how hard it would be to build a skidplate for it?

if you want to incorporate a winch bumper make 2 and ill buy one from you lol, ive been looking for one myself i was thinking about buying one from an older jeep Cherokee they are about the same width but i dont know, good luck in searching

I been playing with one. Still got more work I wanna do to it but this is where its at right now.

Gonna add some support bars going down on each side to behind where the bumper bends. The big hole in the middle is for a receiver hitch thats gonna be bolted to the inner frame rails with a winch mount. Gonna fill in the gap a bit on the top with some diamond plate steel and add some light mounts. Also just started a rear bumper thats gonna kinda match it. I really need to get some more "scrap" pipe bent at work and started welding.

Wanna have customized brush guards (http://www.car-stuff.com/brushguard.htm) too but until now I do not have any luck finding the right pieces or guide on how to do it the right way..

I don't know that there truly is a "right" way to do a custom bumper. The only way you can do a custom bumper is to make it to your own specifications for what you want it for and as long as it is measured out to the proper width with the right mounting locations it will be right.:icon_shrug:

ugly as hell but its hit many of things and not done any damage. bought it off someone for $100 after they went to coils. couldnt use it anymore
