This 4x4 was my daily driver for around 5 years. Last winter, the transmission failed, and the shop (Cottman Transmission) said it needed to be rebuilt. I planned to put a rebuilt transmission in it the following spring, but I never got around to it, so it's just been sitting outside ever since. Since I no longer have time to continue working on the Jimmy, I'm forced to sell it.

I have a list of most of the receipts for any maintenance or upgrades throughout the years. I had been in the process of fixing up the Jimmy for the past couple years when the transmission failed.
Here are most of the major repairs/upgrades:
- Viper 550ESP remote start/keyless entry/alarm installed ('04).
- New alternator ('05).
- Most of the air conditioning system was replaced, including the compressor ('06).
- Dueler A/T Revo tires with most of the tread left ('06).
- New platinum plugs & performance wires ('06).
- New front & rear brakes ('06).
- New catback exhaust with custom-bent 2.5" stainless tubing, aftermarket muffler, and chrome tip ('06).
- New windshield ('06).
- New oil cooler lines ('06).
- New high-amp battery ('06).
- New fuel tank & fuel pump ('07).
- New thermostat, intake, coolant temp. sensor ('07).
- New O2 sensor ('07).
- Replaced rear axle assembly with low-mileage rear ('07).
The sound system was installed in 2005:
- 4 gauge wire with gold-plated battery posts. Two of the "big three" have also been upgraded.
- 400W Audiobahn amp. The amp still worked last winter, but it has small spots of surface rust, and the LCD voltage readout is going bad.
- 400W 12" Audiobahn subwoofer in a quad-ported bandpass box.
- System is custom installed and all components are securely screwed to a carpeted piece of MDF with wires run underneath. The MDF is bolted to the rear hatch via the factory tie-down bolt holes.
- 3 blue cold-cathode tubes (1 in sub box, 2 beside amp) wired to switch on the dashboard.
And now, the bad:
- Good amount of surface rust, as seen in the pictures.
- Factory radio & rear speakers not installed (I'll include them).
- Panels under the dashboard not installed (I'll include them too).
- Windshield wipers were stolen.
- Needs new hoodliner & hood latch.
- Engine compartment is pretty rusty, since it's been sitting idle outside for a year.
- Interior needs a good cleaning.
- Rear hatch won't open (lock probably rusted).
- Front left door needs a new spring.
- Needs new transmission, as mentioned.
- A/C system needs to be evacuated & recharged.
- There is a puddle of what appears to be oil under the left front corner. I can't remember if it was already there when I parked it, so I'm inclined to say it came from the Jimmy.
-8 Hasn't been started in around a year, so I'm not sure if it will even run.
When I parked the Jimmy last winter, the transmission wouldn't get higher than 2nd gear, so the vehicle will need to be towed to wherever it's going. I'm not sure how badly the idle time has affected the engine, which is why I'm selling the truck as a "fix up or for parts." I (unfortunately) don't have the time to part out the Jimmy, but feel free to buy it as a donor car or to part it out yourself.
I'd be happy to answer any additional questions you might have about the Jimmy. I tried to be as honest as I could with the description, but feel free to come take a look at it yourself. Just send me a PM, and I can give you directions to come see the Jimmy for yourself.
Location: Broadview Heights, OH (44147)
I'm selling it for ~$500 or best offer,so price is definitely negotiable. Please PM me with your offer, if you're interested.
Thanks for looking!
