I got this Blazer for $600. This pic is shortly after I cut the top off of it last summer. Over the winter months it's been through alot of changes. The rust is patched up and it's all one color now (primer grey). The next step is a lift to make room for some tires. As far as the lift goes I was thinking about putting airbags on the back, any thoughts on that? I've got the airbags and compressor and what not that I need to do it. I just don't know if it's a good idea for off-roading. This truck is mainly for getting to those tricky fishing spots, to lift the front couldn't I just get some stiff shocks or some over length shocks and slap them on there to maintain the height of the truck when it's jacked up? I'm going cheap with this, any feedback would help.

sounds like you would knock your teeth out on every bump i dont think thats such a good idea. if your going cheap you can only get about 2-3 inchs of suspension lift unfortunately

You should have been swallowed.

But if you want cheap, hack the fenders,, 31s and lock the rear. That should get you most places.
