Hey everyone, if you guys have watched the show trucks for a while then you have probably seen the episode where he puts an LS1 motor in a s10 extreme. It is a direct fit basically except for custom headers that wrap around the steering column, and i think motor mounts. Does anyone know if this is possible in a 2 door s10/blazer V6 and about how much it would cost. Because I found an LS1 in a junk yard. The rear of the camaro was totally ripped off, but the 6-speed Tremec tranny, and the LS1 look to be in very good condition. Plus the milage read out on the guages reads 34K miles. O yeah the car is a 2001. So if anyone knows how hard this is and about the time of installation labor and parts are I would be obliged if you supply me with some information.

I dont know price (probably a lot) but LPE (lingenfelter performance enginering) put a bored out LS1 (now 427) twin turbo in a sonoma a few years ago. Anything is possible.
