Alright because my stroker is done for and the block has already been bored .040 over, I am thinking about getting a virgin block, having it bored .30 over, and getting a new stroker kit. My question is what would be the highest compression I should run with pump gas. Here is the kit I am thinking about using. Any ideas?

10.7 would be ok for 93 octane with a rich setup and not too extreme on the timing advance.

Oh ok because I found another kit on the site which is all the same components and same price just a 9.9 compression ratio which I think would be the way to go since the highest pump gas here in California is 91. Thanks alot for the help.

My 0.030 350 in my Chevelle was 10.25:1 and ran 89 ok, but liked 93 much better. With 89 octane, I had it tuned a bit on the rich side and would get some detonation above 5200RPM if it was hot out.
