Aight everyone, i have a delima. i just bought my new blazer, and i'm trying to figure out what is the biggest size i can get under a stock 01, 2 door blazer. Please let me know. Oh, and i'm just looking for an all-terrain, nothing too aggressive. Thanks!

Here's a nice tire, Destination M/T. clicky. (http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Firestone&tireModel=Destination+M%2FT)
Here is what I had installed. (Destination LE.) I went up to a 75 series from 70. I wanted the Destination M/T's above but I needed tires that day. clickety click. (http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Firestone&tireModel=Destination+LE)
IMO the are quiet at 70 mph and have ogood traction in in our WNY snow. Good luck!

what is the stock size that came on yours? there were optional stock sizes, going up to 235/75R15 (29.5")
the biggest tire you can put on with little worries is a 30X9.5, it may rub the sway bar a little at full turn, depending on how far your steering stop is

the size that is on there now is 235/75/r15. I'm just trying to get it a little beefier looking without going throught the trouble of lifting it. i was told today that i coud fit 31's. I'm still a little skeptical about that. let me know what you think.

Hanr3 has 31's I think. The problem is that not all Blazer sit exactly the same heigh, so 31's on his might not fit on yours. Typically, you need a susp. or body lift of about 2" to fit 31's without trimming.
There is a full writeup on what tires fit, its the sticky just above this topic. At the very top of the section.

i actually broke down and went for the BFG All Terrain KO's. 31x9.5x15 i think, i don't know. I was so confused and stressed today. And to think that it was all just over freakin tires. i'll let you know how it goes.

I got the all terrains, and they FIT! just a little rubbing when i turn the wheel all the way. one bad thing though, i noticed tonight when i got off work that some of the lugnut covers were missing since i first left the tire place. I'll get some of those tomorrow. I had someone ask me earlier today if i had a ZR2. i've gotten numerous complements on the truck already believe it or not. now i need a new project. any suggestions, other than a lift.

sounds nice, do you have any pictures? The little plastic things will fall off if theyre arent put on tight enough...the tire place probably just put them on finger tight, you have to snug them up a little with a socket and rachet, its 3/4" just like the lugs. I recommend going to the dealership (sigh) and getting some of the locking lug nuts...they have the threads on the outside so you can still use the plastic caps. Theyre made by McGard, so theyre quality.
Your speedometer will be off a little with the 31's, but since you had 235's stock, it shouldnt be significant. I went up 3 sizes and its off by about 5 mph, it reads lower than the actual.

Well, i went to the dealership today, and got the plastic lug nuts, or whatever you want to call them while i was getting my oil changed. They only cost $2.60 but the problem was they only had 4. I had five missing. Anywho, i'm going to try to get pics up soon. i'm probably the only person on the forum without a digital camera. Thanks for all your help.
