ok so i made a post with the same thing about a month or two ago but a user (forget the name) ihe asked for a photo but didnt have a camara at the time but recen tly got one on my phone. so i got it now

now iam lookin at the pic and the streaks are on the the panel u take of to get to the lugs any ideas to get em off

Yea there's a neat little cover that they have at the dealership that is almost exactly like that one....except it doesn't have any streaks. LOL-I'm not tryin to give you a hard time or anything. I would just buy new ones:D

Oh, and the lug nut covers just pop off.

Oh heck yeah they are. They don't fix things like that... They'll want to just replace the rim. I'd take it to a body shop and have them strip it down, polish it again, and re-clear the rim. The streaking is under the clear coat.

I saw on ebay, a guy who sells them reconditioned for 70 bucks for all 4. I'm thinking of getting a set for myself cause mine are all chewed up from whoever owned my truck before me. They look really good in the auction. Here's a link to it.
