just learned that today from my books :)

the 501's put out around 600rms each and the concept, which i dont have installed yet is 75x2rms S/N is only 60db on the 501's :( so it would total around 13-1400rms
seen the old R's anywhere? damn! i need 2 12's
OH! and the amps will be ran @ 2 ohms, and im not sure about the concept....i need to power 4 speakers with the 2 channels it has............?i dont know if it would be stable running 4 4 ohm speakers....

I think the factory puts out 90amps so its gonna be pushing it but you might be able to pull it off.

With the 1200D your amperage pull is 83.333amps

with one of the 501's at 2 ohms its got 550w's according to the site so the amperage pull there is 38.19444


And for the other one its looking like 79.86111

these are all running on a 14.4v system which is what you have

thats crazy man, what size alt do you have now? ho alts are too $$$ for me, and kind of a hassel to go through all that yik yak online with warrenty and such.....ive been wondering if it was worth building up a small case alt......would heat be a huge issue....i dunno if its worth it......I mean lotsa ppl on here are running over 1krms on there stock alt, are they not......?

i mean you should be good with alittle over 1k watts i mean u shouldnt have to worry about a hardcore voltage drop. I mean with what us like 1500+ guys. we have upgraded engine wiring (i dont oops lol) and that helps the electrical breathe better.
