My friend Just bought a bran new s2000. we going out sunday he soo nice at driving he said he hit 170 in 6 gear we are going out of state sunday after i get off work so we can go soo fast and we wont get a point we will only get a ticket because we are out of stater's Peace ill tell yu how it goes.

S2000 wasnt toped out it could of did more but he didnt wanna go too fast on a belt way its stock too and hes getting supercharger we see wut it pushes.

hmmm....i dont think that the car isnt capable of reaching 170 mph, but i think that it is governed shy of that. i know that my nonner with a V6 will get up around 150, with a 4 speed autostick...a friend of mine has a slightly modded S2K...im gonna ask him what its governed to.

im afriad to say that your buddy doesnt know more than magazine and webpage test drivers/writers. electronically limited to 150 miles per hour for thr 04-05 models, and the older ones are lower, around 132 mph.

however if it is modified, it could be done...if you ever ride in it and it hits 170...ask him whats done to it..and if he says nothing, kick his arse because he's supposed to be your boy and hes lying to you. [8D]

well he just bought it.. It is stock but maybe its differnt then the other s2000 because he got the bran new one...

jimmy, those numbers are on the newest S2000....they actually get slower as they get older....the first few years were 130ish..

O0o I dunno dont care ill find out for sure when we go out for a ride.

You see the problem is that if it was all stock then the tires are rated at 110 mph so they would have blown the tread off at them speeds.
