Thanks Troy. I have some things planned for the spring and summer time. I'm going to put a 3-10' sub pioneer system in the back. I want to get a westin safari bar, I still have to get those grille inserts (they sell them at pep-boys for about $70), red underbody lights, and a chrome gas door cover. I have some euroglow gauges to put in, now that I know how to put them in. Thanks for the offer. I'll drop ya a pm and let you know. I can't do much right now, I just dropped $450 on new tires today. I'm going to work on a few little things until then and maybe then I'll have a chance. Thanks again dude.

LOL I'm used to driving 2wd lower vehicles this is the first 4wd. I like the fact I can go anywhere I want( if the need arises) and I sit higher, But everytime I see an Extreme Blazer makes me double think about trading

Tell me about it. I drove a fwd 89 cavy for about 8 years until it died on me (tear!) , and then I got my blazer. It's my 1st 4wd too. I can't wait for snow now with my new tires. Bring it on mother nature! It felt real different actually stepping up to get in instead of actually ducking down (I'm 6'6"). I love the riding high part. I just found a couple weeks ago that my drivers seat goes up and down. Now I sit a little higher than before lol. You could always buy an extreme blazer body kit and change it over. I see them on ebay all the time, maybe even the for sale/classified section on this site.

Just buy a 2wdr for cruising.

I plan to someday. I saved alot of parts and stored them in a shed for a future project. I look foward to that. I did alot of work on it. I have a picture of it on my myspace page. It's www.myspace.com/davtak if anyone wants to take a look.

Yeah, I agree Lastcoupe. My truck is totally unappreciated in this 4x4 forum. I did all the work on my truck, all the wrench time for the performance parts, wrench time on the aftermarket parts, the 8 hours of sanding to get the smoothest feel I have ever felt on a truck, the 30 straight hours of painting, taping, untaping, and painting again, I stayed up for 3 straight days getting this paint perfect. I put all my extra time, money, and effort, my blood, sweat, and tears, this truck is my life, it's everything I am....... it's just like "[sm=sigh.gif]" when you put so much into it and only 18 or 11 people have any appreciation for that.

With that many days left, I should have a total of, let's see, ummmmmmm, oh who am I kidding. With competition like this, I have to get ready for next time. May the best blazer win!

What I think is funny is that we have 1,000's (?) of members and we get a total of .....50 votes per month!
I figure that with that kind of participation, if you're nominated, you are already a winner.

The critisizm I get is that my trucks' to old, to high, the tires aren't big enough, the colour is wrong, it's ugly, it's a gas pig etc...etc.... I don't care, (well I kinda do), I built it for me and it suits my needs and the purpose that it was built for.

I have a tough time voting because it's not an easy choice, I like variety.

That may be other peoples opinions Chevy, but I think your trucks are bad ass!! Wish I had a beast like those.

I don't get why there isn't more love for the rabbit...that thing is super sweet. Not that all the others aren't, but I am just so in love with that paint job!

Yeah, amazing paint job, did I mention I did it myslef? Did I also mention I had no prior experience with body work, and vehicle painting? All it took was me staying awake and sharp for 3 and a half days and the guidance of my paint and body experienced brother and I did something that is amazing. I get a whole lot of repect for the things I'm doing with this truck where I come from. Alot of people hate on me too. I figured the last place that I'd get hated on is at a place where everyone loves the Chevy Blazer.

Oiy geez. Who is 'hating' on you? Just because it may not be to someones liking doesn't mean that they 'hate' it.

No matter where you go, when you ask for opinions, that is exactly what you will get. Be prepared because not everyone is going to have the same sense of design, taste, etc as you.
