Ryan,

Since they have been out of production for a while I was thinking that they were the same frame. But I would take a tape measure and make measurements to be positively sure....ie body mounts, suspension mounts...etc....

yea i knew i would probably end up having to do that but i was hoping someone would just say hell yea i just finished one and it looked great. the problem is i dont have access to the blazer at this point. i'm just going to make the measurement of a 49-53 suburban and a early 70s blazer and which ever one i feel like doing is the one im gonna do. i realize that some frame and baody "messaging" will be involved but i think that the reward more than outwieghs the effort and the time put in.if i do decide to do it i will a do it yourself forum about the whole process in case anyone else cares to take a hand at it. thank for the input 20.
