i have a 95 2wd 4 door blazer
problem is my tranny..or a connection on the tranny..or somethign else that i have no idea..but my buddy has a GM Tech2 diagnostic tool and when we hooked it up..the only codes it threw were VSS circuit loss and EGR valve..now my question is
will a bad EGR tell my computer to shift funny?? when we hooked up the tech2..we coudl drive perfect if he manually shifted it with the tech2..but when he turned off the manual shifting..it would shift 1-2-3 1-2-3 1-2-3 over n over real fast and it would jerk and downshift and upshift real fast...sometimes it locks into 2nd gear..then other times it locks into 3rd gear..now i kno it cant be the tranny(maybe) because when it runs fine..it doesnt slip or hesitate..it has its times where it runs perfect..then the next day i can barely make it to work..and when it does act good..it usually is ended by a nice bump in the road, which leads me to believe its a bad connection on some wire going to the tranny
but can the bad EGR tell my computer when to shift?
i put a new speed sensor on it already(was told that was the cause) but that didnt help
anyone else have any problems like this?? any help would be great
thanks
