I like the wider sheetmetal in the fender areas, but it looks like the Brazilian front end (Hombre)? Eh, not so much...

...on second thought, I don't like when the handles are on different planes like that, just doesn't look natural. Wonder what it would look like on a 2dr model...

The rear-end and interior look nice, but other than that I don't really like it...

It looks like a Nissan with Blazer decals and a chevy steering wheel!

That would probably look a lot better in a 2 door...

I'm more interested in the turbo aspect myself, lol

Maybe if the sides didn't bulge out... Hood scoop for the top mount intercooler

There is no-way that was conceived in 06. Look at the mirrors they're from the 98 and under model years. I do love the fender flairs tho!

Here's an '03 Blazer Executive located in Brazil (http://produto.mercadolivre.com.br/MLB-55278678-blazer-executive-03-com-14mil-km-100-original-_JM). It looks cool.

Must be an outland GM product... Might have to do some research into ordering up parts... lol

There are Jeeps in other countries that look and share similar parts from mid 90's american Jeeps. My point is, I wouldn't be surprised if they used older parts in other countries cause I have seen it numerous times. I'll have to scrounge up links for the Jeeps to show you guys.

It probably is... It's probably a turbo diesel, not a turbo 4.3

TheBrettster

The current turbo version is the 2.8L Turbo Diesel. Only other engine is the 2.4L MPFI engine. It is possible that earlier Brazilian Blazer variants included the Vortec 4.3L, but I highly doubt it was turbo'd...

Head on over to www.chevrolet.com.br (http://www.chevrolet.com.br) for more info (helps if you can read Portuguese).

The turbo diesel 2.8L has 138HP and 250 ft/lbs of torque...

It may have an ethanol engine if it was a South american model

There's the 2.8L turbo diesel, and a 2.2 or 2.4L flex fuel 4banger... I forget which it is.

If it's a turbo 4.3, it was either discontinued, or it's a custom job...

If that 2.8L diesel is built from the old 60 degree 2.8L V6 it's pretty much bullet proof, and should be good for some major boost...
