define cheap please.

i have seen them as low as 250 all the way up to 3000. what area are you looking for and are you looking for built in Ipod, navigation, phone bluetooth, ect?

for cheap you could hit up the local wal-mart and get a Dual brand flip out. really basic options but under 300 bux.

http://onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/...-P6000DVD.aspx

here is what i have found. its the only one i know of with built in changer but its double din and over budget. i would suggest a cheapish flip out then add on a cd/mp3 changer after.

you want cheap, you get cheap. You get what you pay for. You are asking a lot for under $500

Ive never heard of/seen one with a Tachometer or a speedometer. Look for one with GPS/NAV, and it MIGHT be able to tell you your speed.

you wont need a power convertor, it wont use that plug. it wires into the truck just like any other aftermarket cd players. and it will pull under 15 amp for sure, if not under 10. the only way you will have any issues with your trucks power in relation to the dvd unit. if you wire it off a bit so there is a short, then the battery will die, or if you sit and play it for hours on end with the truck off the whole time, then it will drain the battery. but all in all - the dvd flip out units wont pull enough to make any diffence in a stock system and you will only use the same install harness and dash kit as any other single din cd unit.
