Question adding a double din i have some questions.

thanks for looking i have a 98 blazer and i seem to not find a double din dash kit for my year i found one for a 2000 but i dont wanna spend the money on one if i cant use it so the question is can i buy a dash kit from a 2000 blazer and will it work for a 98 blazer.

Go to a junkyard and get a bravada dash bezel, the opening for the radio is bigger and then get a mounting bracket kit. This way you wont have to cut anything.

yeah thats what i was thinking but i couldnt find anything yesturday i went to 30 junk yards if they had them they where broke in the middle. and i dont wanna buy one off of ebay there like 150 bucks! thats crazy

Im also contemplating double din ... Gonna borrow the dremmel first. Deffinately looks like I'll be cutting. All for the name of customization.

If you can't find one locally, just wait for a deal on eBay. I nabbed one for $60 when I was looking but I had to wait a bit as well. You'll fine one for a good price, just need to be patient.

yea i thought i would be smooth and search up 98-01 bravada but i had no luck the cheapest one i found was $100
