Resistor for Capacitor

Resistor for Capacitor
I just uncharged my capacitor tonight to work on my amps setup and folded the resistor back up to put into its baggy. When I folded it up, one of the tiny, tiny wires broke off, right at the glass. Anybody know where I can find a replacement and what rating I need, I lost the originial packaging that says the exact specs on the resistor. From what it looks like, the filament that connects the two wires has been used too much and is black now where it broke. It is a bulb type resistor, for a 1.5 Farad Power Acoustik capacitor if that matters.

RE: Resistor for Capacitor
i already went to radioshack, they have all the sizes, but in normal resistors, non-bulb-type. I dont know what size I need, how many ohms or how many watts, the salesman couldnt help me.

RE: Resistor for Capacitor
It's just a 12 volt bulb. That's all you need.

couldnt u just solder it back together......

RE: Resistor for Capacitor
It broke off just inside the glass. After a little research, I found that a 1K ohm, 1 watt resistor will work. I guess I'll try calling PA tomorrow and see if I can get another exact one.
