Default radio issues *sigh*...

hey guys, so ive heard this is real common but im havin problems finding a situation thats exactly like mine.
so my girlfriend has a 96 blazer 4 door. well i replaced the heater core in it before the winter. the speakers havnt worked since, at all. only the dash tweeters work.
i thought it was the speakers so today i replaced the front door speakers but theres still no noise coming from them.
in the back of the radio (factory radio) i have 3 connectors plugged into it but there is a fourth connector there. is there a wire thats supposed to go into it? any help is appreciated!
