Default radio help!

Ok Ive got and 87. I just got the truck and it came with no radio. So i went out and got the wiring harness got it all wired up, hooked up the radio and the damn thing doesnt work. Went and took my radio out of my other car and hooked that one up, still nothing. Ok so any info on the wiring and how i go about trouble shooting this woulod be greatly appreciated

nice post cr... i needed that a couple days ago... hahahha....first off check and make sure ur fuses arn't blown, then if u have a volt meter check ur constant power (yellow wire)and c if u have 12v, then ur acc (red wire)and c if u have 12v when the car is on... both of these us ur ground wire for ur ground or u can use ur key hole for the ground...

thanks yeah first thing i checked was the fuses but of course it wouldnt be that easy. im gonna go ahead and check on the volts tomorrow thanks
