dash is 4x6 and doors are 6 1/2 inch. I have 2 ways on my dash and door speakers. and 3 ways on my 6x9s in the hatch. I'm pretty sure you can only get 2 ways on 4x6s and 6 1/2 inch speakers

I wouldn't say that too quickly....

Kylies06 - it all depends on the system you are shooting for and the amount of money you are going to spend, if you give us a budget or price range we would be glad to help you piece something together!

At the moment I'm just looking for decent speakers that can thump a little and sound good. Later, down the road, I will invest in a sub (maybe). I've been looking around for speakers but have no clue what 50hz or whatever means.. Nor, 2 way, 3 way, or 4 way means.. What can I say!? I'm a female! Lol, but would really like to enjoying doing something myself. is 6.5 and 4 by 6's the right diameter for the speakers?

No, No! Not saying I don't trust you at all. Would hate to buy something that doesn't fit, but hey, I will keep the receipt!! Thank you so much! You were great help!!

What is the difference between 2 way, 3 way, and 4 way? Does anyone know?

2way 3way and 4way means the amount of speakers on a single speaker. a 2way will have the main cone plus an extra tweeter, a 3way will have two tweeters and so on.(pictures below)

2way

3way

4way (Benedict notice a 4way 6" speaker lol)

BlazerGuy2001 -

What would you recommend to be the best.. You seem to know a little about this stuff.

I have done a little research, and a few of the threads I found, said that 4-way speakers are junk. So, what would you recommend?

i would definitely agree with four way speakers being junk lol, if your looking to get some bass out of them i would suggest getting a set of component speakers for the front doors and 2 ways for the rear doors. Component speakers have a main woofer and then a tweeter separate from the woofer, many people say you will get better quality out of them. You can mount the tweeter in the dash speaker mounts because there should already be a tweeter mount bolted into the 4x6 opening.
