stock deck gone dark...diy to fix.

Default stock deck gone dark...diy to fix.

i went to

http://www.yorkspace.com/2006/02/35

for tear down info..
(regular stock radio (not sure what bose would have))

opted for stock look and went to radioshack

bulb 272-1154 (1.79 ea.) works just fine...
you will need 10 total (+1 for goofs)

can pull old bulb and slide these in re-solder and good to go.
took about 45 min. ...to crack open radio, swap bulbs and reassemble.

not that bad.

So you have to solder in the new bulbs?

yes, its not that bad though.....just take your time and have a steady hand.

i am no solder pro and i had no problems.

i saw that there was light....and it was good.

costs all of 18.00 give take.
well worth it.
