Default Theft Lock Radio

Hi Everyone,

I just got a 1999 Blazer with a radio/cd player that has "theftlock"

I replaced the battery and the radio/cd player is locked!!

I bought it used from an Olds GM dealer in Pt Pleasant NJ, and their telling me that I have to make an appointment so they can rip out the radio and submit the serial code to GM and hope they will reply with the magic code!! ALL at my expense of course.

There has to be a default code doesn't there??

DO I REALLY HAVE TO RIP OUT MY RADIO!!!???

Default Theft Lock Radio

Well the only things i could think of is pressing the reset button on the cd deck (which sometime may be in the back of the player) or just taking the cd player fuse out and leaving it out for a minute or two

hope that works
