most annoying part of everything was the harness from my 1997 to the 1998+ stuff, I don't know how many people have had this problem but sense I had a 1997 with glass headlights and the high and low in one bulb so I tried taking the 1998+ harness and splicing on my 1997 connector at the end and idk what happen and it pissed me off so I came up with a idea .... my 1995 blazer had the 9006 and 9005 bulbs just like the newer style so I talked to a local guy that parts out tons of vehicles and he had a 1995 jimmy harness bought it for $30 and plugged it in and it works ......

so I have a 1997 blazer to a 1995 jimmy harness to 1998+ front headlights and stuff

so the next things to do to the blazer is finally make the front axle a 6 lug to match rims with the front ..... shim (wedge)the front axle for a better pinion angle and run a new drive shaft

found out today that my plow isn't going to work without some modding to the pump mount I cant slid it in all the way because of the bumper I guess a 1998+ sticks out farther then the older style I have no idea

so im not sure where I left off on my blazer

but last I crashed my blazer into a pole in the winter on a icey road and hit a pole
I got a second blazer and transferred over the 98+ front end on my 1997

I drive my blazer everyday with no issue 30 miles round trip everyday to work, with no front sway bar .... sometimes I wish I had one but oh well

so my friend has been getting on my case about going to raush creek

so I recent bought a bfg m/t 33x10.50x15 for 40 bucks and it fit my truck the way it is now no rubbing but flexing it will

I plan on buying rancho 44044 front leaf springs and keeping the front SUA idk what im going to do with the rear yet it is currently sitting 2.5 inchs higher than the rear

I measured the fender to tires when I first did my swap and measured them now and im down 2 inchs I guess plowing with 1990 jeep leaf springs flattened them lol

will post pics when I start doing this need work to my blazer

most recent changes to my truck are different front shocks and steel braided longer front brake lines

idk if I ever covered it but I also made my stock 8.5 rear into a 6 lug with custom moser axle shafts and drilled drums
