I think that's where I'm headed, too. I plugged it back in for the drive to work this morning and it ran like CRAP. Even worse than before. I found a plastic one on Rock Auto for about $70. It's a Dorman. They also have a Delphi for $87. The only thing I've ever bought that was Dorman was a side mirror for another vehicle. Either way, it's about half of what Autozone charges.

Nice thread and build. Attention to detail is the same approach I've taken on my new to me 98 LT. Keep up the updates, I look forward to hearing about your progress.

Thanks! You should start a build thread and throw some pics up. I'd love to see what you've got in the works with your Blazer.

Tajohns, is the MAF you bought similar to this one?:

I found it on Amazon also.

Amazon.com: Delphi AF10055 Mass Air Flow Sensor: Automotive Amazon.com: Delphi AF10055 Mass Air Flow Sensor: Automotive

My Blazer is throwing a code p0101, so I may need one as well. After a quick search this looks like the best replacement.

Well, ran an OBDII scan and came up with the following new codes, keeping in mind that I had the MAF sensor unplugged for quite a bit of time:

P0101 - MAF circuit range performance
P0102 - MAF circuit low input
P0147 - O2 heater circuit, bank 1 sensor 3

I guess my next step is to clear those, plug the MAF sensor back in and see which ones come back.

Well, had an "I'm an idiot" moment. I cleared my codes, popped the hood, plugged in the MAF sensor, and noticed...that one of the rubber couplers on the CAI intake had worked itself a little bit out of position. Got everything put back and resecured. Drove it, and it runs perfectly. I don't know how I missed it. I'm usually pretty observant. Geez. At least I found it before I spent any money on it.

Good catch, looks like you saved yourself some $$ and that's always good.

I got my MAF on eBay for about $40. But it looks like you might not need it.
