Flexed it out a bit the other night. Go ifs....

Then I went to Paul's on Thursday and we got a hitch installed in preparation for today.

We hauled off the remains of the S10 to the scrapper today.

Pulled it up onto the trailer with Paul's winch on his Blazer

Dropped off 940 lbs of scrap

I also scored a nice pair of Goodyear Territories at the wrecker yesterday. Should be a lot better for the winter than the cupped MT/R's or the no name mud terrains I had on the back for the safety. I'm running the 2 good MT/R's on the front and the 2 new Territories on the back now.

Thanks EB! Me too

I am absolutely in love with this truck, it drives beautifully and rides sooo much smoother than the blazer. I don't really get how that works but I'm not complaining. I'm also really enjoying having a pickup to use. Much easier than having to drag a trailer around to pick up random whatever.

I hear you on the convenience of having a pickup. I finished fixing up my Sonoma and am hoping to sell it this week, and then then hopefully I'm shopping for a crew cab Sonoma or S10 to replace my Blazer. I just have to get the budget committe (the wife) to approve it.

Yeah me too, on the one hand I'm happy it's working but on the other hand I want to know what was actually wrong. Not knowing means it could easily stop working again.

Been a while since I've seen you post anything. Get the HID retrofit done yet?

Bit of a change in plans for the Sonoma.....

It's getting tons! D60 Ford 10.5 Combo to be exact.
