What about using your spare tire for the horn?

The old VW Käfer (Bug) used this for the window washer system...

wow. i never thought of that. but there is just one problem. my spare is on my roof right now and i am then putting it on the spare tire rack im going to mount. so i think it would just be easier to buy a 120psi storage tank and mount it where the spare tire was. then either mount the horn in the front somewhere or in the back by the tank...

Ok, didn't think of that.

Btw, the tank for my oba setup will be in the spare tire location too...

haha. sweet. i just need to find some pricing on a small tank. maybe ill stop at sears on the way home. i cant spend too much money this week seeing how i just payed for school yesterday. there goes a quarter of my money!!!

do you think some small see through lines would be able to hold over 100 psi? im not looking to running high pressure lines throughout my car... lol. just something small to the inside switch, might just be an air hose nosle and then back to the tank where i will mount the horn. i dont want anyone to be able to see the horn. and with my front air dam removed the whole front is exposed. i only did that so people can see the kick *** skid plates it got!!

Just get some proper air hoses. It`not worth the hassle if you get other ones and try to save a few cents...

update: i really want to do a rear end swap seeing how im at 150k miles and i heard that the diff in these trucks is the time bomb. im looking on craigslist and some guy is selling a zr2 8.5 drum brake rear end for 300 bucks. would that be worth it? i think they are locking but im not totally sure. never did any research on it. he says its 57 in from inside drum to drum. would this even fit my car?
