Default Project Triplet

I figured I would start a build thread on here of my third dime, almost called Project Yoyo as my first was a 4x4 Blazer.

Then down when I ended up ordering a new 1995 shortbox with the 4.3 and a 5 speed...

which quickly dropped and evolved to this point.

many years of daily driving in the Northeast

caused some wear and tear, so I painted the lower half with some spray bombs...

...and back up when after having natural triplet girls it was time to upsize...well at least seating. So I found this.

put on my winter wheels and tires for the summer, along with some cleaning up and smoothing.

color change

and back onto the big tire with some rims I found for the winter

back to my old polished rims in the summer

but again had to tackle the salt damage...only the rockers are bad so I cut them off just below the doors.

added some 2"x3" tubing braced up to the floorpan and welded up.

and cleaned it up for winter...has been driven for a week but won't get cleaned until spring now, yes that is snow falling.

Plans are 31s on the polished rims in the spring and then I'll be playing with bumpers and mounting a spare tire.

Yeah, GM missed that combo for sure.

Can anyone comment on how well 31's will fit on my truck with the lift shown above? When I did the rocker repair I did clearance the front egde of the wheelwell a bit compared to stock.

The 31s should fit just fine. Maybe a little bit of trimming and hammering required. I like your rocker repair too looks pretty cool

Finally got my rear spacers and mounted them. Truck is filthy but so are the roads.

Looks more aggressive and doesn't look like it going to tip over from the back anymore.

Just waiting on some 31x10.50x15's for my polished 2wd wheels but the roadsalt needs to disappear before then.
