Default Rick's 1995 S10 Blazer

This is my S10 Blazer. It's a 1995. This is a project for the winter months to come although it is insured and tagged to drive so i might drive it some. I picked this for for really cheap, as it was in an accident and the guy couldnt get it to run. I found the fuel lines rusted in too so i fixed that and she runs great. Anyway here are some pics of the truck. It came with a wrinkled up left front fender but i already replaced that.

People have told me i am wasting my time and money on this truck but its mine and my time and money so im doing it..lol.

I hope you enjoy this build as it gets done.

And what do you have in mind for your build? People have told me many times, and I tell myself occasionally, that I am crazy for keeping my Blazer...it's a love hate relationship!

Im going to put new rocker panel in next weekend as this build is mostly cosmetic. I got a new grill and bumper that im putting on tomorrow. It needs a new rear bumper. Once the body work is complete the truck is getting painted tangerine orange with charcole gray fender flares , front and rear bumpers, and roof rack will also be charcole gray. Im looking to find some 16 inch nice wheels for it. With the offset the blazer has rims are at a minimum.

I am going to do some reading on that swap..i seen the thread on it and i might just do that..Rims are my main concern. I cant find many rims available with the proper back spacing. Anyone out there that has any suggestions please chime in.

So you can either hit up other blazers, s10s, or fbodies(camaro/firebirds)....

I believe they all bolt up relatively nicely except the fbody rims might stick out 1-2 inches

ok anyone know what year camaro rims fit the blazer..I want to do some checking. On the build side , i noticed when i went to mount the new fender and bumper things wouldnt line up right. upon futher inspection i found the core support to be bent as well. sooo i found a windheild for the girlfriends 96 blazer theat got all busted up and got that and a new core support for $40.00.

Other things in the works are friday the new windshield gets put in, new brake lines installed, core support installed, fender reintaled and aligned,

On sunday im getting a new rear bumper, another front bumper, 2 new leather front seats, a new set of switches to engage 4x4, and the rear light console. Things are starting to come around nicely.

Pics coming on sunday.

yeah so far it is..i started tear down on the core support tonight after i got home. when i removed the right headlight assembly i found the side marker light socket had been removed so i need to find one of them but i think the part store should have them or its wrecking yard crawling for me.

Things i have done

removed the upper and lower fan shroud
removed the headlight assembly
broke lose all line to the radiator ( boy was the fun lol )
cleaned up the the core support going in the truck
new fuel lines installed
replacement fender installed

Friday a buddy of mine is coming over and putting in a new windshield for me.

Found on craigslist
2 new leather seats
4x4 switch
rear bumper
rear console light assembly
new fan shroud( as my lower one is busted

this is a winter project truck but now it needs to be on the road next week so now ihave to put off my rocker panel purchase.
