Default Xtrmes10 97 ZR2 Blazer build

This is what it looked like the day I brought it home. I've wanted one of these since the first day they started to build them.

Two days later the body lift installed.

New wheels and tires.

Pre runner bar and roof lights installed along with 2" of suspension added.

To now in the garage a full time project fixing the rust. Lots of it under the flares.

To no rust.

To new winch bumper.

Then on to the 6" Super lift I picked up combined with a set of Rugged Trails 4" lift tubular control arms. Then I'm be running 37" tires on it.

To the point I'm at right now. The whole front suspension is out. The frame has been trimmed of all the unnecessary brackets. Then ground down and painted. I spent the day today sorting out all the pieces of the kit. I bought it used and it was missing some of the hardware so I just called Superlift and ordered all new hardware to make life easier.

Thanks guys.
Not sure on the pre runner bar yet. I'll let you know.
And yes I did a full length AAL. It was not to bad. I just cut the bolts and bought new ones. You will also need new spring clamps because you will have to remove the old ones they won't be long enough. I got an 1.5" out of it.

I'm also going to be doing a three tone paint job on it when everything else is done.

Looks really good. I've got a 2000 ZR2 I picked up this summer, and I'm super excited to work on it this coming summer. What size tires are you running currently? With the suspension work and BL done already, the tires (33"?) look small :-P and I can see why you'll be getting 37" rubber. Nicely done.

The tires on it now are only 31's. If everything works out as planned it will be lifted 12" total. I've been putting off working on it long enough. I've had the lift for about a year now. Figured I'd get it done for the summer.

Haven't had any time in the last couple of weeks to work on the Blazer. Found a couple of hours today to start putting it back together.
I got the front center link and lower cross-member the the stabilizer links bolt to along with the lower control arms.
I also got the upper control arm and brackets in place.
It's allot more work when your installing a used lift.
