the motor mounts from he 2.8 will bolt to the frame just fine.the mounts on craigslist should have 2 slots in them for the bolts fit through, try to use the ones closest to the block. you may need to grind off some of the bracket and cut off the little "wings" on the mounts them selves. just keep trying and fitting until you get the engine in as LOW AND FAR REARWARD AS YOU CAN. there may also be the need for some oil pan "reshaping"(denting) where it comes close to the frame on the right side as these mount will shift the engine about a 1\2 inch to the right side of the truck. GOOD LUCK.

The blazer is a raised up pickup. That means that the drive line is more positive in a blazer, but thats done with the frame bumps and maybe trans mount. The stock mounts are the same. The 5.7 block's motor mount pad is furthur forward than the V6 and would actually put the block TOO far back. About half that distance difference is about right. As said before far back and to the right as much as possible. I then built a solid left side mount. Cut the heater box. And use an Astro van steering column, (no rag joint or bell joint). Move the interior steering hole to the left half inch and the interior column left bout 1/4". Lotsa work but the most fun I ever had.

This site has a rule of no street race stories so I wont tell how I bitch slapped that porsche turbo down Rodeo drive
