I was thinking maybe a piece of steel tubing and a couple hose clamps. Can't get higher flow than that. Cheap too!

yes I cut the restrictor piece off as Hawks said. I just took a dremel to it, and replaced the rivets with new ones and smoothed em back out. I also polished everything up while i had it all taken apart. Alot more pep off the line, IMO. Which i like cause my new 31's really drag *** haha

i went with a high flow filter from a racing big block chev yes it wasnt a bolt in but thats the joys of modding vehicles. my oem filter i changed when i first bought it and it sprung a leak so i decided to get a high flow filter. i always use 89-91 octane in my truck as the tune works best for it and every second fill up i clean the fuel system to keep it running smooth and clean. next mod ill upgrade the spyder injection

Interesting, I never would have guessed that a 4.3L could consume as much fuel as a 7.4L (454) in a 2500 Suburban 4X4.... they use the same filter

Nobody has mentioned more teeth on the ring gear.
Also Capn the 7.4 uses the same filter as the 4.3 because they get about the same milage.
