Fellows I have a 2000 blazer with the 4.3 V6 and 4wd, Engine runs great until after the car is totally warmed up then shut of for a short period of time.
It starts up immediately but hesitates severely unless you put it in neutral and rev up the engine to 3k rpm for 20-30 seconds then it runs fine. Also much worse when A/C is on or when towing my boat. When it is cold outside I don't have this issue. In the morning it starts and runs fine without hesitation until it totally warms up and you shut it off. When restarted it hesitates badly and sometimes it pops in the throttle body (carb). Once you have driven it for a while, everything becomes OK. It has about 125k miles and uses little to no oil and is in great shape and always well maintained. Last full tuneup was less than 1 yr back and was complete with wires and everything. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

 

hey, I'm having the same exact problem... with the exception of the boat to tow :P... have you found the outcome/fix for it? I inherited the blazer with 56k original miles on it, its had the problem for as long as i can remember after my mother got sick, all it was used for was when I took her to doctor appointments, and every time on the way back it would stall out when i was stopped, or barely move after making a stop, also hear a popping from the throttle body.
