Default 2001 blazer not shifting correctly and throttle staying open.

I was doing some wheelin with some buddy's and I took on a decent amount of water through my intake. Almost hydrolocked my 4.3. After discovering that it still ran and running the water out, I drove it home sucking in air from just the MAF. The air box had standing water in it and the air cleaner was soaked. Trucke worked perfectly fine on way home. Next day I changed the oil and got a new air cleaner. There was a little bit of water in the oil but not much. (Nothing the good ol 4.3 couldn't handle) now when driving it it seems like the throttle is getting stuck. And the trans doesn't want to shift. Driving at 35 mph I threw it in neutral and the engine stayed at 2,500 rpms when I was at a stop light. Put in in drive and the tires chirped. (Basically just performed a neutral drop). Guy at work sayed I should clean my throttle body and MAF. I've cleaned the MAF but not the throttle body yet. If cleaning the throttle boddy doesnt do it what else can I do?
